Door Sets
This proposal introduces a P21+ standard MH doorset specification that various Suppliers (Arnold Laver; David Smith; Datim; Leaderflush; Lloyd Worrall; and Safehinge) can deliver and has the potential to reduce target costs by up to 14%, from the average cost, and even 32% against the highest cost. Prices are fixed to the year end and a minimum 5 year warranty is available.
The Primary, Community and Acute Doorset proposal has also been updated to confirm prices for 2015, which other than for one Supplier (Leaderflush) remain as for 2014. For ease of reference, both proposals are also attached.
Windows
This proposal introduces a P21+ standard Mental Health (acute and forensic) Window Supplier (Britplas) and has the potential to reduce target costs by up to 19%. In addition, the proposal offers fixed prices to October 2016, no minimum quantities, a 2 year warranty and a 12 month inspection and service to each window.
